Half Day Living Legends

The perfect tour for horse lovers short on time. Relax in comfort as we drive you to Living Legends.

Enjoy the delicious and generous morning tea at Woodlands Homestead which includes Annie’s famous scones and a hot beverage of your choice.

Then, armed with carrots, you’ll be guided around the retirement paddocks of former racing legends. Meet, pat and feed the boys and you here stories from their racing days and learn about their personality and life after racing.

Current Legends include: Brew, Apache Cat, Twilight Payment, Almandin, Efficient, Fawkner, Santa Ana Lane, Chautauqua, Johnny Get Angry, Pakistan Star and many more!

Departs: 9:30am

Horses, Wine and Beer

A local favourite, a relaxing day out for lovers of racing, beer, wine and fine views.

This tour starts out identically to our Half Day Living Legends tour but the magic doesn’t end with the horses. Rather than head straight back to the city, we’ll spend the afternoon in the Macedon Ranges.

Following the horse tour we’ll head to Woodend for lunch and beer tasting at Holgate Brewhouse. Holgate is a family-owned and independent brewery producing award-winning beers since 1999.

We finish the day at Hanging Rock Winery. Soak up the stunning views of Hanging Rock and the Macedon Ranges while tasting your way through the impressive array of award-winning wines.

Departs: 9:30am

Returns: 5pm

Breakfast with the International Champions

Join us as we head to the annual Breakfast with the International Stars at Werribee Racing Club.

This tour departs only once a year on the Thursday morning before Melbourne Cup.

Held at Werribee Racing Club which is home to the International Horse Centre, where the foreign horses attending the Spring Racing Carnival reside while in Melbourne.

Pick up and drop off in the CBD.

You can choose to extend your morning in Werribee by Adding On a visit to either Werribee Mansion or the Open Range Zoo at Werribee.

Departs: 06:45am for 7:30 breakfast

Returns: 10:45 or 2:30pm
